MyTripPrime acts as an intermediary between you and airlines, hotels and other travel suppliers. Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the fare rules, room rate and supplier policies shown at the time of booking.
Always review fare rules, cancellation terms and refundability before completing payment. These are displayed on the booking and payment pages.
1. General principles
- All cancellations must be requested through MyTripPrime or the original booking channel.
- Refunds are processed according to the supplier's policy and may take 7-21 business days depending on the payment method and airline/hotel.
- MyTripPrime service or convenience fees may be non-refundable unless required by law.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Flight bookings
Before ticket issuance
If you cancel before an e-ticket is issued, we will process a refund of the amount charged minus any non-refundable supplier or processing fees disclosed at checkout.
After ticket issuance
Once a ticket is issued, airline fare rules apply. Many fares are non-refundable and non-changeable unless explicitly stated otherwise. Where changes are permitted, airline penalties plus MyTripPrime handling fees may apply.
24-hour flexibility (where applicable)
For eligible bookings, you may request changes or cancellation within 24 hours of booking subject to airline rules and an administrative handling charge.
3. Hotel bookings
- Refundable rates” free cancellation is available until the deadline shown on the room details page.
- Non-refundable rates” cannot be cancelled or modified; the full amount may be forfeited.
- Partial stays” early check-out or no-show may result in charges for unused nights as per hotel policy.
4. Visa applications
Visa applications are subject to embassy and consulate rules. The following applies to all visa bookings on MyTripPrime:
- Government fees” once your application is submitted to the embassy or visa authority, government fees are non-refundable, including if your visa is rejected.
- Service fees” MyTripPrime service and processing fees may be partially refundable only if your application has not yet been submitted for processing. Contact support with your reference number.
- Document issues” if uploaded documents are rejected as invalid or incomplete, we will request replacements. Delays caused by incorrect uploads are not eligible for express-fee refunds.
- Cancellation before submission you may cancel before documents are forwarded to the embassy. Any refund will exclude non-recoverable costs already incurred.
- Rejection” visa rejection by the embassy does not entitle you to a refund of government fees. Our service fee refund policy is outlined at the time of booking.
For accepted file types, document requirements and how uploads are handled, see our Visa Documents Policy.
5. Car rental, bus & other services
Cancellation terms for car rental enquiries, bus bookings and other ancillary services vary by provider. Contact support with your reference number for eligibility and applicable charges.
6. Refund processing
- Approved refunds are initiated after supplier confirmation.
- Bank or card processing times are outside MyTripPrime's control.
- Currency conversion rates at the time of refund may differ from the original transaction.
- An airline or supplier handling fee may apply to partial or full refunds where permitted.
7. Fraud and unverified bookings
